Healthy Schools Assessment Report April 2018

FS2 - learning all about ways to stay healthy
Year 1 - learning where their food comes from and new skills in food preparation
Year 2 - learning about food from other cultures and pracising their skills in food preparation
Year 3 - learning where their food comes from, about seasonal availability and how to prepare savoury dishes the Romans might have eaten
Year 4 - also learning about the Roman diet, but also practising the skills learnt in KS1 and using a heat source safely
Year 5 - hoping for a spell of warmer weather so that they can put their fantastic salad preparation skills to good use
Year 6 - learning about how to eat healthily during the Second World War and preparing and cooking Wartime recipes
Healthy Schools Roadshow
Families and friends were invited into school where a wide variety of information was available. Healthy Heroes Helpers were responsible for organising and running lots of fun activities. The event was a great success.
A fun afternoon with lots of good advice and helpful tips on the many different ways in which to stay healthy. |
